One thing has to be said about Elon Musk; he’s a man of his word. Once he makes a promise to do something, he actually follows through to make it a reality. Like how he promised that once The Boring Company (his tunnel and infrastructure digging effort), sold 50,000 hats bearing the company’s name, it would start making Boring Company flamethrowers.
After 50k hats, we will start selling The Boring Company flamethrower

Well, guess what? His company reached his projected sales target and Musk has remained true to his word. If we’re honest, it looks like something out of Mass Effect . Images of the promised ‘tool’ were first discovered inside of several Musk-related subreddits, and one Twitter user posted a picture of it on the social media platform soon after.

Now, obviously, we won’t be getting the flamethrower anywhere here, and as the fine print in the picture above notes, the ‘tool’ is still just a prototype, but you can still pre-order it for US$600 (~RM2,325). But, like all things that are too good to be true, there is a catch.
To order it, you’ll need to get to the site ‘boringcompany.com/flamethrower’. The site will then redirect you to a page with a password box, where you’ll then have to guess the password. Initially, someone guess the first password, which was ‘flame’, but that’s been changed too. Yes, we did try to guess the password, and no, ‘elonmusk’ wasn’t it.
