Officially unveiled to the world earlier this week, the new Mavic Air is the latest addition to DJI’s family of drones that are consumer-friendly yet still packed with plenty of features. Featuring a highly compact physique alongside 4K recording and several new shooting modes, users in Malaysia are able to pre-order the new drone from several local retailers immediately.
What made things interesting is that the amount that you have to pay to get your hands on the new drone depends on which retailer you go to. For example, the well-known photography retailer Shashinki is offering the stand-alone unit at RM 3,499 while the drone retailer March is listing the same unit at RM 3,780.
Consumers are also able to pre-order the Mavic Air Fly More Combo set which features additional batteries, propellers, and travel bag from these retailers. Again, they are offering the combo at different pricing with Shashinki listing it at RM 4,299 while March’s price tag has been set at RM 4,680.
In terms of release date, Shashinki expects its stock to arrive next month while March estimated that the drone will be available from them in mid-March. If you like what you see and interested in getting your name into the pre-order list, we do suggest getting in touch with these retailers for further clarifications before making any purchase.
