Samsung has announced that its first Unpacked event for 2018 will take place on 25 February, alongside the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. It is the official confirmation that we have been waiting for quite some time as the rumor regarding the launch has been circulating since last year.
While the company didn’t specifically mention the name of the device that it will launch at the event, the teaser is clearly pointing out to the much-rumored Galaxy S9. However, It is likely that we might be seeing multiple products at the event since the announcement stated the event will be showcasing the ‘next generation of Galaxy devices’.
At the same time, the newly published teaser clearly focuses on the camera capability of the new devices. This comes as no surprise though since we have been hearing rumours that the Galaxy S9 might be carrying a f/1.5 camera while the Galaxy S9+ will be featuring a set of two cameras with f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture setup respectively.
Nevertheless, we are quite sure there are more to these new generation of Galaxy devices than just their cameras. So, stay tuned for more this coming February.
