Gamers, take note. Steam is reportedly bringing back the Steam Lunar New Year Sale, and it’s happening in early February. More specifically, the sale will supposedly start on 15 February and end on 19 February.
News of the leaked information came from inside Steam Direct: Valve’s replacement for its Steam Greenlight program that was rolled out last year. Essentially, Steam Direct allows anyone to be a Steam developer for one-off fee of US$100 (~RM391).
The next @steam_games sale is Lunar New Year Sale and will run from February 15th to 19th.
Thanks to Steam Direct, it now takes less than 5 hours for that information to leak.

Of course, the leak still remains unconfirmed, and compared to Steam’s other sales, the duration on this sale is slightly shorter. Valve itself has yet to confirm this bit of news, and the existence of an annual Lunar New Year sale is a little shaky. The last one took place in 2016, but was skipped in 2017. So there’s no telling what Valve is up to this time.
