From our experience, Kingston’s HyperX range of gaming headphones are surprisingly good for how much they cost, and its premium HyperX Cloud Revolver is a classic example. It may cost a steep RM479 when it was launched in mid-2016, but here’s a chance for you to own a pair for about 20% off its retail price.
These headphones features dual 50mm dynamic Neodymium drivers fitted into circumaural, closed-back, memory foam-wrapped earcups that sit comfortably on your ears, with virtually no discomfort. The memory foam earcups combined with a flexible headband results in a really comfortable fit that lets you game for hours without any discomfort.
Despite its relegation to the realm of gaming accessories, it has a relatively wider audio-range than most other gaming-grade headphones, with a frequency range between 12Hz and 28,000KHz and an impedance of 30 ohm – it’s probably why it is marketed as a pair of “studio-grade” headphones. It also comes with a durable steel frame, which adds yet another level of durability to the headphone’s overall construction.
The HyperX Cloud Revolver on sale both Shopee and Lazada for less than the aforementioned RM479 pricetag. The best deal we’ve found is on Shopee, at a price of RM388 (though there are other sellers listing it for RM389 here and here), while Lazada’s lowest offer starts at RM397. Both platforms offer various coupon codes in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year, so you should be able to drive the price further down.
