Initially launched in Malaysia back in July 2017, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2’s price tag has just been revised for our local market. Originally going for RM1,199, the large smartphone is now retailing at only RM1,049, saving you RM150.
This, of course, is an official price revision from Xiaomi Malaysia itself. The Mi Max 2 is now listed at RM1,049 on the company’s official Lazada store. Interestingly, popular retailer G Store is currently selling the phone for slightly lower at RM1,039 too.
The Mi Max 2 is a large device, but it comes with an equally large battery too. Packed with a very, very generous 5,300mAh battery, Xiaomi claims it can provide up to two days of battery life – it’s quite an impressive figure. Aside from that, the Mi Max 2’s power-efficient Snapdragon 625 chipset should further improve the phone’s battery life.
Other specifications of the Mi Max 2 include a 6.44-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 12MP rear camera – it uses the same sensor as the Xiaomi Mi 6‘s primary rear shooter – a 5MP front-facing camera, as well as an all-metal chassis.
If you’d like to get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 at the new price tag, you can do so on Xiaomi’s official Lazada store here.
