A leaked website screenshot has revealed several specifications for the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ Pro. The Pro is expected to be announced at Mobile World Congress at the end of February; mostly since it didn’t make an appearance at the recently concluded CES 2018.
The image lists 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS internal storage. The storage can be further supplemented with a microSDXC card of up to 256GB. The processor of choice is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, corroborating an earlier leak.
Other rumoured specifications are the 5.7-inch 4K OLED display, and dual camera setup on the back. The front selfie shooter is said to be a 13MP sensor, while the rear twins are a combination of an 18MP sensor with a pixel size of 1.33μm and a 12MP sensor with a pixel size of 1.38μm.
Sony is expected to retain the IP68 water- and dust-resistance rating on all its smartphones with the XZ Pro; and should be including a respectable 3,450mAh battery.
MWC 2018 is just a month or so away, and if the report is correct, we will be seeing this phone at Barcelona.
