MSI has unveiled two brand new gaming notebooks at CES 2018. To be more specific, the company’s “new” gaming laptops are called GE63 Raider RGB and GT75VR Titan Pro – both of which have been updated with new features that make them even more enticing to PC gamers.
First up is the GE63 and GE73 Raider RGB gaming notebooks. According to MSI, these new additions to its GE series of gaming laptops have been “given a new identity and weaponry inspired by exotic sports cars.” The top cover of these gaming notebooks are now endowed with 12 zones of RGB lighting which can be customised via the SteelSeries Engine 3 software or MSI’s Dragon Center app.
The keyboard on both the GE63 and GE73 Raider RGB gaming notebooks feature customisable RGB lighting as well. Specifications for both of MSI’s new GE series gaming laptops were not specifically mentioned by the company, but other sources have mentioned that they may come with either a GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 GPU, optional 4K display, up to 32GB RAM, and a Core i7 processor.
The next “new” gaming notebook from MSI is the GT75VR Titan Pro. MSI has mentioned that this gaming laptop now comes with the all-new Killer Wireless-AC 1550 wireless adapter; the company claims this to be the “world’s fastest 2×2 11ac wireless networking adapter.” The new wireless adapter that comes with the GT75VR Titan Pro is capable of bandwidth speeds of up to 1.73Gbps. Key specifications of this gaming notebook was not mentioned at the time of writing.
Likewise, pricing and release dates for the GE63 Raider RGB, GE73 Raider RGB, and GT75VR Titan Pro was not stated. It’s also not known whether MSI intends to bring all three of its newest gaming notebooks to Malaysia.
