At CES 2018, Asus unveiled a new ZenBook 13, and it’s a rather interesting ultraportable. Weighing just 985g, the refreshed laptop also boasts other impressive features, including up to 15 hours of battery life.
That’s right. Even though it’s a really lightweight laptop, the ZenBook 13’s 5,000mAh battery can provide up to 15 hours of battery life; that’s quite impressive. On top of that, it also features an all-metal chassis, giving it a premium look and feel.
In terms of performance, the ZenBook 13 is doesn’t disappoint either: it can be configured with an eight generation Intel Core i5-8250U or i7-8550U processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM. As for storage, users can opt for a range of SSD capacities, up to a 1TB PCIe SSD.
Other specifications of Asus’ new ultraportable include a 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 display, Intel UHD Graphics 620, an illuminated chiclet keyboard, as well as a range of connectivity options, which include two USB-A ports, one USB-C connection, and even an HDMI port.
The new Asus ZenBook 13 will be available in two colours: Rose Gold and Deep Dive Blue. Although the ZenBook 13’s pricing has not been revealed yet, it will be available for purchase sometime in the first half of 2018.
