Intel has announced its new Core processors equipped with AMD’s Radeon RX Vega M GPU, and most OEMs are taking advantage of the improved graphics. HP is no different as the company has announced a refreshed Spectre x360 15 with the new G-series Intel Core processors.
The new HP Spectre x360 15 is not entirely only a simple refresh. It packs an Intel Core i7-8705G processor, which includes the aforementioned Radeon graphics with 4GB of dedicated VRAM. It retains the rest of the hardware configuration as far as we can tell, including the 4K 15.6-inch display.
One other difference in the new version of the larger Spectre x360 is that the speakers have been relocated to above the keyboard. This has made space for a numpad on the keyboard, which is a nice touch.
The smaller Spectre x360 13 is also being refreshed with new 8th generation Intel Core processors. There’s still a choice between a Core i7 or i5, but neither of these feature the Radeon graphics. Leaving the user with the older Intel Integrated Graphics 620.
HP is planning on releasing the new HP Spectre x360 15 is due for a release on HP.com on 18 March. There is no price available at this moment.
