Monster Hunter World is set to be released at the end of this month, and Capcom is building up to it by reminding us that the PC version will have to wait a while longer. MHW producer Ryozo Tsujimoto took to Twitter to inform PC gamers that the company is aiming for an autumn 2018 release.
This isn’t to say that there is a firm release date at the moment; only a timeframe to expect it. The language used indicates that Capcom is taking its time in making the PC port work. As such, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to see the game delayed to an even later date.

Tsujimoto also touched on future DLC for the console versions of MHW. Saying that there will be free content available for all, including new challenges and monsters. Allowing the console to introduce more creatures to hunt at a later date could extend the lifespan of MHW.
