A poster on Weibo has leaked alleged early designs for this year’s P-series from Huawei. The P20, P20 Plus and P20 Pro are said to be the successors to the P10 line, and look to feature triple camera arrangements.
It looks like all three models will sport triple-camera modules. Falling in line with an earlier creative campaign leak that hints at the triple-sensor unit. What sets the three models apart is the location of the camera sensors.
The P20’s camera location will be similar to the P10. The P20 Plus will have its camera arranged in the manner of the iPhone X, while the P20 Pro will have the lenses mounted vertically on the back. The P20 and P20 Plus will have their fingerprint scanner on the front; while the Pro model will have it just below the camera module instead.
Huawei is rumoured to fit the phones with the Kirin 970 SoC while the Pro model will receive an updated Kirin 975 SoC. All three are expected to feature 6GB of RAM and at least 64GB of internal storage.
We do not know when Huawei is going to launch their latest flagship, but precedence dictates that it will be sometime during MWC 2018.
