Right after integrating the feature into its Maybank2U app yesterday, Maybank didn’t waste any time to put the new Maybank QRPay cashless payments to work. While the feature will only receive its official launch in January 2018, members of the public are able to participate in the QRpay open trial that takes place starting from today onwards.
That being said, it can be used at only one location in the country at the moment. Not surprisingly, that location is the Menara Maybank in Kuala Lumpur which is the headquarters of the bank.
Specifically, customers are able to utilize Maybank QRPay when they make payments at Laman Menara Maybank which is the food court located within the building’s compound. Alternatively, they can also utilize the feature for purchases at the bazaar area of Menara Maybank’s lobby.
Available during weekdays, the Maybank QRPay trial at Menara Maybank will continue until 5 January 2018. As mentioned before, the feature is available with the latest update for Maybank2U app on both Android and iOS platform.
