Just few weeks after its recent appearance in SIRIM, ASUS Malaysia has finally confirmed the upcoming arrival of ZenFone Max Plus M1 into our market. Not only that, the company has also provided a rather huge hint on how much the phone will be priced in Malaysia.
Based on that image that ASUS Malaysia has posted for its new contest earlier today, the new phone will apparently go for under RM 1,000. It was hinted rather clearly in the image, as shown below:
This is rather interesting revelation as the phone which was first unveiled in China as Pegasus 4S carries a price tag of CNY 1799 (about RM 1109) in that market. At the same time, ASUS Malaysia has also confirmed that the phone will indeed carry 5.7-inch 18:9 display and 4130mAh battery.
However, ASUS Malaysia didn’t reveal more information regarding other components within the phone. In China, the Pegasus 4S which comes with HD+ resolution also features MediaTek MT6750T processor, 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB internal storage.
It is also equipped with dual main camera that is consisted of 16MP and 8MP sensors. There’s also another 8MP camera on its front.
Since the result for the contest will be revealed on 13 December, we expect the official announcement for the ZenFone Max Plus M1 will take place on the same day as well. So, stay tuned.
