In September, Meizu released two of its flagship smartphones – the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus – into Malaysia. Now, one of them are available for much lower than its original launch price.
To refresh your memory, the Pro 7 series devices are quite unique in the sense that it actually comes with a secondary 2-inch Super AMOLED display on its back. On the front, the Pro 7 comes with 5.2-inch AMOLED full HD display while the higher-end Pro 7 Plus is equipped with a 5.7-inch 1440p display.
There are also plenty of other hardware that separates them aside with the Pro 7 being powered by MediaTek Helio P25 alongside 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and 3,000mAh battery. As for the Pro 7 Plus, it comes with MediaTek Helio X30, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and 3,500mAh battery.
However, they do share the same dual camera setup that features a pair of 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor with one is tasked for color photos while the other is tuned to capture monochrome details. There is also another 16MP camera on the front of both phones.
Back to the price drop: customers can now obtain the Meizu Pro 7 at RM1,499 instead of its RM 1,899 launch price. A popular seller on Lazada is selling the phone for even less, at RM1,399. That being said, there is no price drop for Meizu Pro 7 Plus though which is priced at RM 2,799.
