An image of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has leaked online. The photo from Weibo happens to be a shot of the specifications, and provides some insight into the capabilities of the phone.
Out of the box, the Redmi Note 5 will have the latest MIUI 9 skin on board. The phone will have 64GB of on-board storage. The screen clocks in at 5.99-inches, which is bigger than the 5.5-inches on the outgoing Redmi Note 4. It comes with Full HD+ resolution – 2160 x 1080 pixels to be exact – set in the now popular 18:9 ratio.
Power will be provided by a 4000mAh battery which, when paired with the energy-sipping Snapdragon 625, should last you a whole day. The main camera a single 12-megapixel sensor; no dual cameras from the Mi 6/Mi A1 here. There will be support for 4G LTE.
So far, the features and real-world images tally with the TENAA listing, so this must mean that the phone is heading for launch pretty soon. As the Redmi Note 4 received pretty good reviews and responses, we think the Redmi Note 5 will be similar as well.
