Gigabyte has launched its newest motherboard called the X299 Aorus Gaming 7 Pro. Interestingly, unlike the company’s previous X299 motherboard (Aorus X299 Gaming), the X299 Aorus Gaming 7 Pro supports both Intel’s Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X family of processors. In addition, this motherboard is also optimised to harness the power of Intel’s beastly Core i9-7980XE CPU.
When it comes to design, the Gigabyte X299 Aorus Gaming 7 Pro features an all black PCB. Besides that, this motherboard also has a plethora of LED-lit areas (RGB) just in case you’d want it to double as a Christmas tree. Specifications-wise, this motherboard is, as most may have already known, fitted with the Intel LGA2066 socket, which is compatible with Core-X processors.
The X299 Aorus Gaming 7 Pro motherboard also comes with eight DDR4 DIMM RAM slots; two PCIe x16 slots running at x16; one PCIe x16 slot running at x8; two PCIe x16 slots running at x4; eight SATA 6Gbps connectors; along with several USB3.1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Type-A, and USB 2.0 ports.
Regardless, head on over to Gigabyte’s official website to know more about the flamboyant X299 Aorus Gaming 7 Pro motherboard. Unfortunately, local pricing and date of availability of this motherboard was not mentioned by Gigabyte. If the company decides to make the X299 Aorus Gaming 7 Pro available in Malaysia, then consumers can expect an announcement to come soon.
