ORIGINAL STORY – 23 Nov, 1146pm:
Maybank2u.com.my, arguably Malaysia’s largest online banking platform is currently down. The outage was reported at around 9.05pm, and the site still remains inaccessible as of 11.45pm.
Prior to the outage, customers confirmed facing issues logging into the site, with passwords not being accepted, and the secure image which accompanies each login failing to display.
Maybank2u mobile apps, which are available on iOS and Android doesn’t seem to be affected by this outage.
A quick check on Maybank’s Facebook page confirms that they are having intermittent issues with their site.
UPDATE – 24 Nov, 1000am:
Maybank2U is online once again according to a short status update on the bank’s official Facebook page.
That being said, some users have reported in the same Facebook post above that a variety of errors still popping up in the service. Do let the bank know if you are facing similar situation.
