A couple of months ago, the vivo V7+ was launched in Malaysia. Today, the Chinese company is introducing the smaller device in the series on our shores, the vivo V7. For the most part, the V7 shares many of the V7+’s hardware, right down to the 24MP selfie camera – it’s more affordable too.
Much like the V7+’s selfie camera, the V7’s 24MP front-facing shooter features a front-facing flash, Face Beauty 7.0, and even Portrait Mode to simulate shallow depth of fields. The V7’s rear camera, on the other hand, is a 16MP shooter with phase detection autofocus.
Naturally, the V7 also retains the V7+’s sleek 1440 x 720 FullView display, though it’s slightly smaller at 5.7-inch. The same Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor is found under the V7’s hood too, and it’s paired to 4GB of RAM.
Other specifications of the V7 include 32GB of expandable storage, a 3,000mAh battery, as well as Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.
The vivo V7 is currently available for pre-order in Malaysia until 23 November tomorrow, and it will be officially sold from 24 November onwards. Retailing at RM1,299, the V7 is available in two colour options: Crown Gold and Matte Black.
