A new smartphone from Huawei may be heading our way soon, if the leaked photos are to be believed. The alleged Huawei Nova 3 looks to have carried some design ideas from the Huawei Nova 2i, but makes a couple of significant changes.
The pictures show a similar dual-camera setup as the Nova 2i, albeit with a more pronounced bump. There is still an 18:9 screen with rounded corners, which we suspect will have a 1080p resolution.
However the biggest change is that Huawei has managed to put in a front-mounted fingerprint scanner / home button, which suggests the phone will be a bit larger than the Nova 2i. This collaborates with the images, where it is estimated that the screen will be around the size of the Nova 2 Plus (5.5-inch or larger).
The phone will have a USB Type-C for connectivity, and retains the 3.5mm audio jack; audio fans can rest assured the phone will support their old headphones. There is also seems to be a single bottom-fired speaker. We wish the Huawei group would hop on the stereo speaker bandwagon pretty soon.
No specifications have been leaked along with the photo. But it shouldn’t be too far off from its predecessor.
