Razer has announced an update to the Hammerhead earphones; now sporting a USB Type-C connector for other smartphones that lack headphone jacks. On the other hand Hammerhead Mercury is designed for the iPhone and blends in with its aesthetics.
Building on its already well-known Hammerhead brand of earphones, these new products were designed for the mobile from the onset, while keeping to the previous model’s design.
Both models feature highly durable aluminum chassis, flat cables and bi-flange ear tips for passive noise isolation when in use. The 10mm dynamic drivers meanwhile delivers crisp sounds without too much trouble, and the in-line remote gets users control over the sound piped into their ears.
The Hammerhead USB-C comes in Razer’s green-and-black colours while the Hammerhead Mercury is available in white, fitting with Apple’s design scheme. The Hammer is now available at the Razer store online for RM 449, while the Mercury is priced at RM 549.
