In a post that has since been taken down, ZDNet.de unboxed the upcoming OnePlus 5T before the official launch date of 16 November. The full specification of the phone was laid bare and yes, it does look like the OPPO R11s.
From the photos taken of the phone, the OnePlus 5T looks very similar to the previously leaked photos we have seen before. The specifications of the phone has also been confirmed, thanks to literature included with the box.
The OnePlus 5T will have:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 835
- Adreno 540 GPU
- Up to 8GB RAM
- Up to 128GB storage
- USB Type-C (but only USB 2.0)
- Optic AMOLED 6.01-inch 1080p 18:9 Display
- 3300mAh battery
- Sony IMX 398 16-megapixel f/1.7 main rear camera
- Sony IMX 376K 20-megapixel f/1.7 secondary rear camera
- Sony IMX 371 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera
- OnePlus Dash charger
Other features that stands out include slow-motion 720p video at 120fps, Portrait Mode, Sunlight Display mode for better outdoor viewing, and a display that covers 80.5% of the front of the phone.
With the official announcement happening on 16 November, the only thing missing here is the pricing. It is rumoured that the OnePlus 5T will be priced the same as the OnePlus 5 when it was first launched, around US$ 479 (about RM 2,005).
