Most of you may remember our previous article regarding Nvidia’s teaser for its upcoming graphics card. Well, the company has apparently just made that graphics card official. Dubbed the Titan Xp Star Wars Collector’s Edition, Nvidia’s “new” graphics card is, as its name implies, a Star Wars-themed card.
That said, nothing about the Titan Xp Star Wars Collector’s Edition graphics card is different from the original Nvidia Titan Xp graphics card announced earlier this year aside from its design. Performance-wise, both graphics cards are similar to one another. So then, what’s so special about the Titan Xp Star Wars Collector’s Edition? Well, it now features a redesigned cooler shroud along with some fancy lighting.
The cooler shroud on the new Titan Xp Star Wars Collector’s Edition draws its inspiration from lightsabers used in Star Wars. Speaking of which, there are actually two variants of this graphics card: Jedi Order edition and Galactic Empire edition. And yes, you’ve guessed it, the Jedi Order model comes with green LEDs, while the Galactic Empire edition has red LED lighting.
But that’s not all, folks. The Titan Xp Star Wars Collector’s Edition graphics cards will come with special individual packaging that features translucent windows as well. Those aside, Nvidia has, unfortunately, not given details regarding the pricing of these graphics cards. That said, the green company did mention that consumers can expect both variants of the Titan Xp Star Wars Collector’s Edition to be officially launched on 17 November.
