The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was a rather interesting phablet when it was introduced last year. Initially launched in Malaysia for RM2,499 earlier this year, the Mi Note 2 can now be purchased for RM900 less on our shores.
However, this is not a permanent price cut. Rather, it’s a promotion in conjunction with the grand opening of Xiaomi’s second Authorised Mi Store in Suria KLCC. From today until Sunday, the Mi Note 2 can be purchased for only RM1,599 – that’s a pretty good deal even for a 2016 flagship smartphone.
Of course, there are a couple of terms and conditions. For one, only 100 units of the Mi Note 2 will be up for grabs every day. Essentially, only 300 units of the device are available at the discounted price; those who are interested to purchase it will need to take a number too.
On top of the Mi Note 2 discount, Xiaomi is also offering a RM113 rebate on any smartphone purchased at the Authorised Mi Store in Suria KLCC (excluding the Mi Note 2, naturally). Just like the Mi Note 2 offer, this rebate is limited to the first 100 customers every day from today until Sunday.
Xiaomi is certainly offering some good deals in conjunction with the opening of its Suria KLCC Authorised Mi Store. If you’d like a closer look at the new store, you can check out our video and photo essay of it.
