After teasing wireless charging capabilities, HTC has shared more hints on the new HTC U11 Plus. A tweet on the company’s social media site shows a front fascia with minimal side bezels and a small chin on the bottom.
Following up from the last post, the new tweet shows the phone in shadow, and putting the screen front and centre. It shows a screen that is almost all screen, but not quite. There is still a bezel around the screen, so no edge-to-edge display here. This also collaborates with the last tweet where the fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone; there is no space on the front for a fingerprint scanner.
As a recap, the U11 Plus is rumoured to have a 6-inch 2880 x 1440 pixel 18:9 screen. It also is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The single rear camera is said to be a 12 megapixel unit that can record 4K videos while the selfie unit is rumoured to be an 8 megapixel sensor.
HTC will be officially launching the phone on 2nd November alongside the HTC U11 Life, where the company will reveal all about its new devices.
