After much speculations and leaks, NVIDIA has finally unveiled the new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card. As what you able to guess from its name, the new graphics card offers slightly more performance than the GTX 1070 while still not overstepping into GTX 1080’s realm.
Among the significant difference between GTX 1070 Ti and GTX 1070 is the amount of cores that each graphics cards able to offer to users. The new card carries 2432 cores as compared to GTX 1070 which features 1920 cores.
Other than that, GTX 1070 Ti also has higher base clock speed at 1607MHz as opposed to GTX 1070’s 1506MHz clock speed although both cards still have the same 1683MHz boost clock speed. The GTX 1070 Ti also has higher TDP rating at 180W which generally means more headroom for overclocking.
Comes standard with 8GB GDDR5 memory that runs at 8Gbps, users can expect to see the new graphics card in the market starting from 2 November onwards. With a base price of USD 449 (about RM 1902) for the Founder’s Edition card, NVIDIA manufacturing partners including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galax, GIGABYTE, Inno3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, and ZOTAC will be releasing their own take on GTX 1070 Ti at the same time.
