Fujifilm recently introduced a new wireless printer – the Instax Share SP-3. Like its previous generation printer, the Share SP-2, it allows users to easily connect it to their smartphone and print out their favourite pictures. However, instead of using Instax Mini films, it uses the brand new Instax Square film that was first introduced alongside the Instax Square SQ10 instant camera that was launched earlier this year.
The SP-3 app has been designed to make use of the new square format pictures. Just like with the Square SQ10 cameras, users can opt to print a collage of up to 9 images in a single print. There is also a “My template” is equipped with 11 different templates “in various modern reminiscent of magazine and CD covers”.
Of course, since the Instax Square SQ10 camera is a digital camera as well, you can load pictures into the camera and use it as a printer. Sadly though, you will need to do it manually via the SD card slot. The SP-3 offers wireless connectivity, making it a whole lot easier to transfer pictures from your smartphone to the printer. Apart from printing pictures stored in your smartphone, the SP-3 can also directly access and select photographs stored on social media and storage apps including Instagram, Facebook, Dropbox, Google Photos, and such, making it even easier to print out your memories.
The SP-3 will be available starting from 17 November 2017 in white and black colour option.
