It look like we’re indeed getting closer and closer to the official launch of Nvidia’s GTX 1070 Ti graphics card. A new leak has surfaced regarding the existence of two custom GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards from Asus. These are the ROG Strix GTX 1070 Ti and GTX 1070 Ti Turbo. It should be noted that Nvidia will not be releasing a reference GTX 1070 Ti, according to previous rumours.
Those aside, when it comes to design, the upcoming Asus ROG Strix 1070 Ti looks somewhat identical to its siblings. It comes with an all black cooler shroud that houses three open-air cooling fans. Of course, being a “Strix” branded product means that this graphics card will be endowed with RGB elements.
Meanwhile, the GTX 1070 Ti Turbo features a matte black cooler shroud along with a blower-style cooling fan – this should be Asus’ most affordable custom GTX 1070 Ti offering. In addition, this graphics card is also said to be based on Nvidia’s reference board design, which means little to no alterations were made on its PCB.
Unfortunately, aside from their respective images, key specifications of both the ROG Strix 1070 Ti and GTX 1070 Ti Turbo was not mentioned. That said, if previous rumours were to be believed, then one can assume that both of these graphics cards will come with the same clock speeds. Major differences may only be found with their respective cooling system and “exclusive” features.
