HTC confirmed that they are having a launch event this 2nd November through its official Twitter account. The device (or devices) in question will be part of the U11 line-up if the reports are accurate.
We had previously talked about how the U11 Life is set to be one of the devices in the pipeline for the Taiwanese company. Specs for the phone includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, up to 4GB of RAM, 5.2-inch 1080p display and a 2600mAh battery.
Now through a Geekbench listing, we have a semi-confirmed specs list for a larger model, speculated to be the U11 Plus:
- 6-inch 2880 x 1440 pixel 18:9 screen
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 835
- Adreno 540 GPU
- 4GB of RAM
- 64GB of Storage
- 4K video recording
- 12 Megapixel rear camera
- 8 megapixel front camera
Unfortunately, HTC is not following the dual-camera trend with the single rear camera, speculated to be an Ultra Pixel camera from the looks of things.
With about two weeks to go to the official reveal, we will be sharing more details once we have more in our hands.
