Malaysia will be among the first wave of launch countries for Huawei’s Mate 10 series. The Mate 10 will be the first to arrive in the country on 28 October, slightly ahead of the announced global availability of November 2017.
On the other hand, the Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design variants are set to appear some time in late November in this part of the world. From what we have heard, the two models will appear at about the same time in the market.
As far as pricing goes, the Huawei Mate 10 is set to sell at RM2,699; which is incidentally the same price as the Mate 9 was last year. We have no confirmation on the pricing of the Mate 10 Pro as of yet. However, we have been told that it will be less than RM3,399, which was what the Mate 9 Pro was going for last year.
No pricing information has been shared about the Porsche Design versions of the phones yet. Although, we do have confirmation that it will start at 1395 Euro in Europe. Our local pricing won’t be a direct conversion from that number, since the continent has some of the highest sales taxes on the planet.
