Using an iPhone or iPad that runs on iOS 11? It’s time to check the settings app for a software update again. Apple has just released iOS 11.0.3 update that addresses several issues on older iOS 11 versions, namely the audio and haptic feedback issues on iPhone 7, as well as unresponsive touch input on some iPhone 6s displays.
The update should be available right now, just tap on the Settings app, go to General, and Software Update. According to the release note:
iOS 11.0.3 includes bug fixes for your iPhone or iPad.
This update:
- Fixes an issue where audio and haptic feedback would not work on some iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices
- Addresses an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone 6s displays because they were not services with genuine Apple parts
Note: Non-genuine replacement displays may have compromised visual quality and may fail to work correctly. Apple-certified screen repairs are performed by trusted experts who use Apple parts. See support.apple.com for more information.
Apple first released iOS 11 less than a month ago, and has been releasing small updates to fix various bugs. Meanwhile, the Cupertino company has already released its iOS 11.1 public beta version that brings hundreds of new emoji and more.
