Yet another 18:9 aspect ratio smartphone incoming. According to its TENAA listing, the upcoming honor 7X will feature the now ubiquitous screen aspect ratio and a mid-range specs list that should be sufficient for majority of users.
The honor 7X is said to be near release, and now that the device is registered with TENAA, China’s certification agency, it’s a promising sign. Featuring the now popular 18:9 screen, the 7X also comes with mid-tier specification. This does – and should – translate to affordable entry prices.
According to the TENAA listing, the honor 7X has the following hardware:
- 5.93 inch 2160 x 1080 pixel 18:9 screen
- Kirin 659 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB storage
- MicroSD card slot
- 3240mAh battery
- 16MP main + 2MP depth cameras (rear)
- 8MP camera (front)
- 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm
- 165g
- EMUI skin
- Black, Blue and Gold colours at launch
If these hardware are legitimate, the honor 7X is shaping up to be an interesting smartphone. According to rumours, the device will go for $270 (about RM 1,140) when it is launched in China. At that price point, the honor 7X will be one of the more affordable Full HD 18:9 smartphones in the market.
