This week, the Malaysian digital e-commerce space is set alight with the annual MYCyberSale 2017 event. This event is the biggest yet, with a record number of merchants and online platforms entering the fray. With so much participation, this is easily a great time to shop if you’re looking for something – there’s a ton of discounts available, and it can be further reduced with a litany of coupon codes everywhere.
We’ve gone through some of the most popular e-commerce sites for some deals, and we’ve listed the best ones we’ve found so far. Keep in mind that we’ll be updating the site over the course of the week, so be sure to keep checking in! (New products will be listed at the top, so it’s easier to find).
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060: From RM999
If you’re building a new rig and your ideal GPU for your build is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, here’s the absolute lowest-priced model you can find on Lazada from a reputable seller: the Palit GeForce GTX 1060 Dual 3GB GDDR5 PCI-e GPU for RM999. It actually shares the same price point as the ZOTAC GTX 1060 Mini 3GB GDDR5, but theoretically speaking the thermals on the Palit GPU should be much better. However, the Palit GPU has a 3-year warranty, while all Zotac GPUs come with 5 years warranty as standard.
Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum: From RM499
The creme de la creme of gaming mice, Logitech’s highest-end gaming mouse is not only wireless, the company claims it has found a way to reduce the latency of the G900’s wireless signal to such a point where it is indistinguishable from a regular wired mouse.
At RM699, this tech does not come cheap, but a retailer is offering the mouse for RM499 in very limited quantities; the next best option is RM515 – still over 30% below RRP.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge: RM1,959
Last year’s flagship – which is still a pretty great smartphone, mind – has now hit an all-time lowest price of RM1,959. With a 12MP dual-pixel rear camera, dual-curved display, and generous 3,600mAh battery, there is still a lot to like about the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge – especially when it is priced below RM2,000.
Dell Alienware AW2518HF 24.5″ Gaming Monitor: From RM1,672
Dell’s Alienware brand has always been skewed for gaming, and the company has a long history of making gaming monitors. The AW2518HF is the lower end of the two new 24.5″ gaming monitors, with AMD FreeSync support (the higher end model supports Nvidia G-SYNC instead).
Otherwise, the two models are mostly the same, with fast 240Hz screens, 1ms response time, and a 24.5″ Full HD panel that’s tilt, swivel, and height adjustable. Originally retailing for RM1,999, popular PC store Viewnet is offering this monitor for just RM1,672. That said, the warranty details appear to be incorrect – this monitor comes with 3 years warranty as standard. The next cheapest listing is RM1886.80 (with the correct warranty duration).
Huawei P10 Plus: RM2,268
Six months after its launch, the Huawei P10 Plus is now available for almost 30% off its RM3,099 price tag. With 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, the Huawei P10 Plus is a very appealing phone – especially when it is priced at just RM2,268 – an all-time low.
Note that the price is only applicable for the Black colour; other colour options are offered at different prices.
Logitech G90 Gaming Mouse: RM39.90
Sometimes, we don’t need a fancy gaming mouse with LED lighting and multiple DPI settings stored in the mouse. Logitech’s G90 gaming mouse fits the no-frills gamer. With a 2,500DPI Delta Zero sensor that works on a variety of surfaces, the matte black finish also makes it suitable for professional use.
At RM39.90 with a two-year warranty, it’s a great mouse for students or those looking for a decent, long-lasting mouse for everyday use. If the Lazada link is sold out, Shopee has the same mouse for a marginally higher RM41 with free shipping.
Sony PlayStation 4 Pro/Slim: From RM1,078
Console gamers, take note: the Sony PlayStation 4 is now at some of its lowest prices ever. The PlayStation 4 Pro has hit a new lowest price at RM1,388 (previous lowest was RM1,479). Combine that with our previous 4K TV deals, and you’re looking at some pretty sweet savings.
On the other hand, the PS4 Slim is also at an attractively low price – though it is some way off its RM999 lowest-ever price some time ago. That said, RM1,078 for the PS4 Slim is still better than paying for the full RM1,349 retail price.
iPhone 7 (Product) RED 128GB – RM2,949
Need a new iPhone, but can’t wait for the new iPhone 8 or iPhone X (or find them priced out of your range)? The current-gen iPhone 7 might be worth looking into again. The (Product) RED iPhone 7 just got slashed by another 10% from its previous low of RM3,299, now at a tempting RM2,949.
Lenovo Legion Y520 – From RM2,999
Lenovo’s gaming laptops have always struck a good price to performance ratio, and the new Legion Y520 gives a bit more than that. With a Core i7-7700HQ processor and an Nvidia GeForce GTX1050 GPU, the Legion Y520 also has a 15.6″ Full HD display; its 4GB of RAM and 1TB HDD round up the spec list.
Lenovo is one of the few laptop brands to offer its products without Windows pre-installed, so you can drive down its price even further. If you have a Windows 10 key with you, you can get the DOS version for just RM2,999 – great value for a GTX1050 laptop. Alternatively, you can also get a Windows 10 Home key from the Microsoft Store in Lazada for RM339.
Considering that the cheapest Windows 10 version is priced at RM3,619, you can save around RM300 for just a little bit of work to install Windows.
Up to 20% Off 4K TV from Senheng
Stumbling upon this deal is like landing on a goldmine for 4K TV buyers. While the LG 49″ 4K TV deal below is pretty great in its own right, Senheng’s coupon code shaves off a huge chunk of some 49″ 4K TVs.
For example, there’s the sexy RM3,149 Sony 4K HDR TV, with its narrow aluminium frame giving it a near-frameless look. With the coupon code SHCYBER20 applied, this TV will set you back just RM2,599.
If you’re looking at a curved 4K HDR TV, Senheng also has this Samsung 49″ Curved 4K Smart TV with HDR Pro. Senheng already offers it for a below-retail RM2,799, but with the same SHCYBER20 code applied, this TV is yours for just RM2,249 – eye-watering in a different way.
Senheng also offers 15% codes, as well as some other models that are applicable to the 20% discount. You can view the full list here.
LG 49UJ630T UHD 4K HDR Smart LED TV – RM1,849
If you missed out on the sub-RM1,500 4K TV deals from two months ago, here’s a 4K TV deal to mend your hearts. The LG 49″ 4K TV has Active HDR mode, Contrast Booster, and 4K upscale. Considering that the 43″ model is retailing for literally RM49 more, this is quite a no-brainer – this listing even bundles in the LG Magic Remote for free.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 – RM3,499
A full RM500 off a flagship smartphone that’s just been launched not two months ago? The MYCyberSale week kicks off with a price that matches the lowest we’ve seen yet for the stunning Galaxy Note 8. At RM3,499, it is a full RM500 off the RM3,999 price tag. This particular listing offers the Orchid Gray model for RM3,499, while another listing has the Midnight Black variant for RM1 extra.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro – RM2,389
With a new flagship just around the corner, the Mate 9 Pro is now more affordable than ever. Originally priced at RM3,299, for this week the Mate 9 Pro is available for close to RM1,000 off.
With a curved 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 AMOLED panel, the Mate 9 Pro the first Huawei device with a curved display. There’s also a generous 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the Kirin 960 chipset keeps things buzzing smoothly. The Leica dual camera setup with 20MP and 12MP sensors complete an impressive package.
Xiaomi Mi A1 – RM969
We’ve said it before and will say it again: this is a really good phone for its price. The Mi A1 strikes a good balance between price and performance, with a dual-camera setup with 2x optical zoom, and pure Android to keep the software light.
RM969 isn’t the cheapest price we’ve seen, but this is worth highlighting simply because of the seller’s promotion: a free 64GB Samsung Evo Plus microSD card, which alone costs RM95.90 (the cheapest we found in Lazada; its RRP is RM169).
Huawei P10 Lite – RM818
Huawei’s devices keep dropping in price – which is great for those looking for a bargain. With a Kirin 655 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, the P10 Lite is a perfectly capable mid-range smartphone. It has a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 32GB of expandable storage, 12MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, as well as a 3,000mAh battery. It also has a glass back and a rear fingerprint sensor. This listing comes with a free Huawei case as well.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 – RM809

For this price, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB RAM, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 13MP f/2.0 rear camera with PDAF and dual-tone flash, a 5MP f/2.0 front camera, a massive 4,100mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, and a metal body.
