Celcom has officially launched its own digital gift service called OleOle for its postpaid and Xpax customers. Available directly through Celcom First and Xpax mobile apps, the telco has actually did a trial run for the service under its Raya promotion few months ago but today’s launch marked OleOle’s actual roll-out into the market.
Working in cooperation with a company called World of Gift, among the e-Gifts that users are able to send or request through OleOle are Internet, music, and video passes for Celcom First and Xpax. At the same time, users can also choose shopping vouchers with nominations of up to RM 100 that can be utilized at OleOle’s partners which are shown below:
Celcom has stated that it is continuously working to increase the number of partners for OleOle. In fact, the telco has also mentioned that several upcoming company that will be joining the list very soon including Fave, Klook, and TaoBao. It also aimed to include transport-oriented vouchers in OleOle in the near future.
Meanwhile, customers are charged RM 0.50 for each e-Gift they send through OleOle while they will also be charged RM 0.20 for each request. Together with the price of e-Gift, these charges will be deducted from customers’ Xpax prepaid credit or charged directly to their Celcom First postpaid bill.
Not surprisingly, gift recipients will not have to pay anything although do note that the OleOle service is only available for Celcom customers. To learn more about the service, check it out at Celcom or Xpax official websites.
