It took some time, but TIME Fibre has finally started to upgrade the internet speeds of users who are subscribed to their high-speed fibre broadband service via the Astro IPTV package option.
In March 2016, customers who signed up directly via TIME were given free speed upgrades that ranged from 100Mbps to 500Mbps. Customers who subscribed through Astro’s IPTV package however were left in the lurch as their packages remained unchanged.
Astro IPTV customers started receiving emails notifying them of the upgrade since early Tuesday. From our checks, most customers have already been upgraded to the new speeds. Customers with older network equipment might require an equipment upgrade in order to utilize the full speeds allocated to them.
If you haven’t received an email, you are advised to log into your Selfcare account to check on your account status. Depending on your previous packages, you should be upgraded to either 100Mbps, 300Mbps or 500Mbps.
