Maxis is making sure the MaxisONE Prime plan is more than just the MaxisONE 188 plan plastered to the MaxisONE Home fibre plan, by removing the data quota for the mobile plan. On top of that, the telco is claiming zero downtime for the home broadband.
In the event that the fibre network goes down, the router automatically switches to Maxis’ 4G network. When the fibre network is back online, the router reverts to the fibre network without any user prompt. The new router provided with the plan has a 4G SIM card, ensuring that there is a failsafe in place.
In addition, Maxis is also enabling a dedicated “Maxperts” team that will be present to set up the router at home, creating and optimising the home WiFi network. There will also be a priority customer helpline that will be made available.
For families who are heavy data users, the new MaxisONE Prime certainly looks like a plan worth exploring. Check out the original announcement post for more details.
