Dell has just launched its latest Inspiron laptops equipped with Intel’s new 8th generation processors. These include the Inspiron 13 2-in-1 7000 and the Inspiron 15 7000. Retailing from RM4,449, those who are looking for a sleek-looking laptop or convertible may want to consider Dell’s latest offerings.
Let’s start with the more affordable option of the two, the Inspiron 15 7000. Although this isn’t a convertible laptop like the Inspiron 13, it does feature a dedicated GPU; an Nvidia GeForce 940MX, to be specific. Aside from the GPU, the Inspiron 15 also comes with an Intel Core i5-8250U or i7-8550U processor.
Other specifications of the Inspiron 15 include a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display, up to 8GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD paired with either a 128GB or 256GB SSD, and two colour options: Pink Champagne and Platinum Silver.
And then we have the convertible Inspiron 13 7000. Much like the Inspiron 15, this convertible also ships with a Core i5-8250U or i7-8550U processor. Naturally, as it’s a convertible laptop, the Inspiron 13 features a 13.3-inch Full HD touch display too, as well as 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD storage, and UHD Graphics 620 – no dedicated GPU here.
Both the Dell Inspiron 13 and Inspiron 15 are now available in Malaysia. The Inspiron 13 retails at RM5,449 and RM5,899 for the Core i5 and i7 models respectively, while the Inspiron 15 goes for RM4,449 and RM5,499 for the Core i5 (4GB RAM/128GB SSD) and Core i7 (8GB RAM/256GB SSD) variants respectively.
