The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may have just launched nationwide less than a week ago, with many thinking the RM3,999 price tag to be quite prohibitive. Well, for those of you who have been put off by its price, here’s the first real deal for the Galaxy Note 8.
Several sellers on popular e-commerce platforms Lazada, 11street, and Shopee have all begun selling the Galaxy Note 8 for RM3,599 – a full RM400 (or 10%) off the Note 8’s RRP. That’s a great price for a phone that is one of the best Android smartphones released this year.
More importantly, this price is even lower than the pre-order price of the Note 8 – though without any of the freebies and extended warranty.
On Lazada and 11street, the seller is actually Tesco (yes, the Tesco), so buying from them is as safe as it gets. For both listings, only the Orchid Grey colour is available (and there’s a shipping fee of RM5 on Lazada and RM6.15 on 11street).
On Shopee, the RM3,599 listing is a “Shopee Preferred” seller, which is endorsed by the platform as a trustworthy and reliable seller. Actually, there is another listing that goes for RM3,499, which is the lowest we’ve found so far (without coupons etc).
If you’re still on the fence about purchasing the Note 8, here’s our comprehensive review. Do note too that the Lazada listing only had 4 units left in stock at the time of writing.
