Fresh from taking over the realms of NBA from the grasp of Adidas, Nike has recently unveiled plenty of new products for the fans of the biggest basketball league in the world. Among them are new jersey for all 30 teams within the league but they are not exactly plain old jersey though as the company has fused it with digital experience.
Specifically, the sports company has included NFC tag into its new jerseys that allows NBA fans access contents within its new NikeConnect app. Available for both Android and iOS later this month just as the new NBA jerseys are made available in the market, fans can still utilize their Nike+ credentials that the company has used for its website as well as mobile apps such as Nike+ Run Clun and Nike Training Club.

Among contents that fans can expect to enjoy through the NikeConnect app includes highlights and information from their jersey’s player and NBA team. They might also receive unlockable offers as well that include but not limited to merchandises, NBA 2k18 in-game boosts, meet-and-greet sessions, and game tickets alongside access to players’ Spotify playlist.
Since Nike NBA Connected Jersey has its own official page on Nike Malaysia’s online store, it is very likely that we’ll be seeing the new jerseys in our market very soon. That being said though, we foresee that many of its features might be restricted or relevant only in United States – the home of NBA.
