Zotac has introduced new entries to the company’s Mini PC lineup under the ZBOX M and P series. The ZBOX MI553 features high performance components in a compact formfactor, while the ZBOX PI225 is the smallest Mini PC from Zotac so far.
The MI553 features Intel’s 7th gen Core i7 processors, Intel Optane Memory, Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, and USB 3.1 Type-C for future-proof computing. It also supports NVMe SSD for fast storage on board. Designed for the home or for the office, it has the largest surface-area of ventilation to support better cooling and greater performance when it is needed.
Meanwhile the PI225 is the company’s thinnest Mini PC ever. Barely thicker than a smartphone, the PI225 feature an Intel Apollo Lake dual-core CPU on board. The case features a ribbed metal design, acting like a giant heatsink for the system as it is fanless design. It also comes with on-board 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth, and two USB Type-C ports for peripherals. It also comes with a VESA-mount plate to mount the PI225 to the back of monitors for a seamless design.
No news yet if the two models will be heading to Malaysia, but if they do the M and P series may be viable options for those looking for a compact PC.
