Initially introduced in Thailand not too long ago, the Samsung Galaxy J7+ is now available in Malaysia as well. Not only is this Samsung’s second smartphone with a dual-camera system, the J7+ is actually slightly more affordable here than in Thailand.
Although the Galaxy J7+ comes with a dual-camera system, it’s not quite the same as the one found on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Of course, this isn’t all that surprising given the J7+’s more affordable price tag, but it’s not a bad shooter by any means.
Equipped with 13MP f/1.7 and 5MP f/1.9 rear cameras, the J7+ is capable of capturing bokeh shots; the large aperture of these two lenses should help with low-light photography as well. The J7+’s front-facing shooter, on the other hand, is a 16MP camera.
Other specifications of the Galaxy J7+ include a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio P20 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000mAh battery. Interestingly, the J7+ also comes with the Bixby Home app, although it doesn’t have a dedicated Bixby button.
The Samsung Galaxy J7+ will be available for pre-order in Malaysia for RM1,599 from 12 to 17 September; every pre-order of the J7+ online will come with a 64GB microSD card, a one-time accidental screen crack protection, and one year of extended warranty. Those who have placed their pre-orders can collect the J7+ from 28 September to 4 October 2017.
