The new HP Pavilion Power 15 is now available locally in Malaysia. Launched earlier this year, this mid-range gaming laptop is surprisingly only RM 100 cheaper than the recently launched HP Omen 15.
The Pavilion 15 has a rather modest set-up for gaming. Powered by an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor running at 2.8GHz, it has 4GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB hard drive for storage. The 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display is nothing to shout about, but it is an IPS panel so the viewing angle should be good from all corners.
Graphics on the HP Pavilion Power 15 are quite modest, as it has a discrete GTX 1050 GPU, albeit being the 4GB version. Sound should be good, with speakers tuned by B&O and HP Audio Boost to help the audio quality.
Consumers will be getting a smorgasbord ports; this includes a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1, three USB 3.1 Type-A, a HDMI port and a full-sized LAN port. These features are included in a body that is only 2.35KG.
The HP Pavilion Power 15 is available now from the HP Online Store for only RM 4,399.
