The relationship between AMD and Dell seems to be quite great as of late since the later has been coming out with several Ryzen-based systems including Inspiron 27 7000 AIO, Inspiron Gaming Desktop, and Alienware Area-51 Threadripper Edition. Soon, commercial market will receive such system as well in the form of OptiPlex 5055 series.
Available with the choice of Tower and Small Factor Factor chassis, customers can also choose to have their OptiPlex 5055 system with up to AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 1700. It also able to support up to 64GB DDR4-2400 memory as well up to 2TB hard drive and M.2-based SATA or PCIe 1TB solid state drive.
Customers can also choose to have their OptiPlex 5055 system with AMD Radeon R5 430 or Radeon R7 450 graphics card. Price-wise, the SFF variant will start from USD 619 (about RM 2,644) onwards while the tower model can be obtained from USD 659 (about RM 2,815) onwards.
As for its release date, the new Dell OptiPlex 5055 system powered by AMD Ryzen Pro will be launched throughout the world starting from 28 September.
