Asus has unveiled two brand new notebooks at its IFA 2017 press event: the ZenBook Flip 14 and Flip 15. At the same time, the Taiwanese company had also announced updates for its ZenBook Flip S convertible notebook.
Also known as the UX461, the Asus ZenBook Flip 14 is equipped with an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor alongside 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD storage capacity and a Nvidia MX150 GPU. Asus boldly claims that the ZenBook Flip 14 has a battery life of up to 13 hours.
Next up is the larger ZenBook Flip 15, which can be obtained with either full HD or 4K display panel. Like the Flip 14, the ZenBook Flip 15 also features an 8th generation Intel Core i7 CPU but come with a beefier GPU in the form of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050. Other specifications include: 2TB HDD, 512GB SSD, and a Thunderbolt 3 port – for external GPUs or monitors.
Finally, we have the refreshed Asus ZenBook Flip S. Previously equipped with an Intel Core i7-7500U CPU, Asus has now updated it with the new Core i7-8550U CPU. Other than that though, the rest of the 2-in-1 notebook are pretty much the same with up to 1TB PCIe solid state drive and 4K UHD NanoEdge touch display.
When it comes to pricing, the ZenBook Flip 14 and 15 will be priced at €799 (around RM4,067) and €899 (about RM4,576) respectively. The price for the updated ZenBook Flip S, on the other hand, was not announced during the event.
