Acer’s Predator gaming monitors have always been pretty impressive, but the company’s new Acer Predator X35 curved, ultrawide monitor is perhaps Acer’s most compelling one yet. Boasting a high 200Hz refresh rate, quantum dot technology, and Nvidia G-Sync, the X35 is one feature-packed gaming monitor.
Despite featuring an impressive 200Hz refresh rate, the Predator X35’s 35-inch 21:9 VA panel is surprisingly pixel-dense: it’s a WQHD 3440 x 1440 resolution display. Aside from that, it also features Acer’s very own “HDR Ultra” technology. We assume it’s a form of HDR standard from Acer itself.
Other specifications of the Predator X35 continue to impress. These include an 1800R curvature, G-Sync support, 4ms response time, and Predator GameView – users can select from eight pre-set display modes, including Standard, Eco, Graphic, and Movie. According to Acer, the Predator X35 also covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour standard. We imagine this is something creative professionals will appreciate.
Unfortunately enough, Acer has not unveiled the retail price of the Predator X35 yet. The Taiwanese company only mentioned that the impressive gaming monitor will be available sometime in the first quarter of 2018; that’s quite a wait.
