Good news fellow PC gamers and AMD fans: the Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics card is now officially released. That said, reports are coming in from various sources saying that the graphics card has sold out within minutes in selected regions – probably because of bulk purchases from digital currency miners and scalpers.
For those who are not aware, the official SRP for AMD’s Radeon RX Vega 56 is US$399 (around RM1,702). Of course, as we’ve seen from what happened to the RX Vega 64 sales, consumers shouldn’t expect most retailers to sell the RX Vega 56 graphics card at its intended SRP. Also worth noting is the fact that rumours have begun to surface regarding stock issues with RX Vega graphics cards too; hence why they’re being sold at a higher price now.
That aside, it seems like the Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics card has not been made available in Malaysia at the time of writing. We do, however, expect retailers to open pre-orders for this graphics card in the coming weeks – most probably with hefty price tags too.
