Made its debut at Computex Taipei earlier this year as one of the earliest gaming laptop to be crafted based on NVIDIA Max-Q design philosophy, we have now learned that the new ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX501 gaming laptop will be making its way into Malaysia soon. Aside from that, we’ve also managed to receive its Malaysian specifications through our industry sources.
Based on the tip, the ROG Zephyrus variant that will be released into Malaysia will be equipped with 1TB PCIe-based solid state drive and 24GB of RAM. Powered by Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, the 2.2kg laptop with a maximum thickness of only 1.79cm also comes with 15.6-inch full HD 120Hz IPS display which also supports NVIDIA G-Sync technology.
Of course, there is also NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 as its graphics card which has been highlighted by ASUS since the laptop was first unveiled to the world. The ultra-slim gaming laptop also features an AuraSync RGB keyboard and 4-cell 50Whrs Li-ion battery.
Also included alongside the laptop is a gaming mouse, USB 3.0 to RJ45 cable, palm rest, and curiously, a screw driver. While the Malaysian pricing for the ROG Zephyrus is not yet known at the moment, gamers can expect to see it in our market sometime in September.
