If you happen to be a student or a staff at a local academic institution, Switch has a rather interesting promotion for you. From now until the 30th of September 2017, you can get the iPad mini 4 for only RM1,599 – that’s RM300 off of the original retail price.
To enjoy this discount, all you have to do is visit any Switch outlet nationwide and flash your student or staff card; you’ll automatically be entitled for the RM300 discount on the iPad mini 4. Alternatively, Switch will also accept a letter of verification from a local, Malaysia-based academic institution.
According to Switch, this promotion on the iPad mini 4 is exclusively available from the company itself. On top of that, this RM300 discount is only applicable at Switch’s physical stores; it’s not valid on the company’s online store.
In terms of specifications, the iPad mini 4 is a reasonably equipped tablet. It comes with a 7.9-inch 2048 x 1536 Retina display, an Apple A8 chip, an 8MP rear camera, a 1.2MP front-facing shooter, and a 19.1Wh battery.
