If you’ve ever wondered how an iPhone without its iconic home button would work, here is a video that might give you a hint. Developer Guiherme Rambo recently discovered two videos in iOS 11 beta, one of which demonstrates how app switching on a Touch ID-less iPhone 8 might work.
The videos were discovered deep within iOS 11 beta image. The first one doesn’t show much, just only navigating around from settings to the notification center and control center, and back to the settings screen. The second video is a little more interesting, it shows how the user can swipe up from the bottom of the device to activate the app switching menu.

Of course, these videos are not final; they don’t even look like the recent iPhone 8 leaks we’ve seen. Guiherme Rambo says that the files are from May, and could be from very early iOS 11 prototypes. So as always, take these leaks with a pinch of salt because the gesture could change anytime before the official launch of iOS 11 and Apple’s rumoured tenth anniversary iPhone.
