Huawei is not resting on its laurels after the success of the P10 line as it shifts focus to the Mate series for those looking for something bigger. The company has just released the first teaser video of the Mate 10, which naturally showcases the Leica-designed camera.
As per its predecessors, the phone will have a Leica-designed rear camera module. Reports speculate that the camera will have a colour/monochrome combo like the Mate 9, with the sensors rated at 12Mp and 20MP respectively.
We also expect the Mate 10 to feature the new Kirin 970, the 18:9 EntireView Display, 6GB or more RAM on board, and a possible minimum of 64GB of internal storage. We may even see the simultaneous announcement with a design partner, like how Huawei did with the Porsche Design Mate 9 at the international launch of the standard Huawei Mate 9.
The invitation says that the launch event will be happening on 16 October 2017 in Munich, Germany. It is one of the more awaited phones from the Beijing-based company, and we just have to wait and see if the phone lives up to the expectations.
